Valentine's Day Outing

People started arriving from 4.00pm. Everyone relaxed whilst I took photos of all the couples. After nibblies, a quick dinner and drawing the lucky door prizes (a book of romance quotes and a Gummi Love Necklace – won by Gordon and Lorraine – not sure which one won which one) it was time to catch the City Cat for our trip up the river.

We boarded the City Cat just after 7.00pm. We were told that they hold 150 passengers. At one stage we were pretty close to that number. We shared red heart lollypops with the crew. (should have taken the whole box to share with the passengers) The weather was beautiful and the scenery fantastic. (not to mention a couple of the crew) The lights, the buildings, the bridges, the different types of people that came and went - there was just so much to observe.

Just after 9.00pm we arrived back at Guyatt Park, some of the group wanted to party on, some even wanted to dance. Some of us went to McCafe at Indooroopilly to end the night. All in all a good time was had by all.
