Dinner Dance

Another year has come and gone. How fast it goes by.
53 people attended the dinner dance. What a fabulous night.

People started arriving at around 5.50pm. By 7.00pm
everyone had arrived and were ready to eat. Between the main
course and dessert, we played Pass the Parcel for the Lucky
Door Prize – Bill Freeman was the winner. We also drew the
winner of the Main Prize – The Hot Laps at the Holden
Performance Centre - Congratulations Sandra Moore. (Don’t forget to let us know when you plan on going, and we’ll make a social occasion of it!!!!) After a few more draws and a bit of dancing we sat down to dessert.

After dessert, the trophies were presented:

Rookie of the Year: Michael Warry
4WD Driver of the Year: Joe Elmore
Club Persons of the Year: Carmel and Joe
Elmore

After a few more Raffle draws it was back on the dance floor. Chris Francis was “King of the Dance Floor” - how he could move those feet. Good one Chris.

In between dances we continued to draw the Raffles – thanks to all those who donated so generously.

By 11.30pm most people had left.

Joe and I would like to thank everyone very much for their support and assistance during the year. We have both had so much fun, and look forward to more of the same over the next year.
