Binnies Road

23rd October

The scheduled trip to Beerwah with Jamie was rained out, so he took us to Binnies Rd instead. We met up at Ripley Rd near the Ips. Region Community Church at 9 am, there were 10 cars.

This was our first trip, so we will have to be excused for not mentioning names as we are yet to remember everyone’s. During the trip we were doing fine till we got stuck trying to get out of a gully. We managed to get towed out and we had some handy instructions from Steve with his radio, unfortunately we didn’t have one, so we had to yell out to him it was all in vain! We are sorting out to buy one soon.

Later we redeemed ourselves by towing someone else out - there was plenty of mud and water to have fun in. We had a great day and got some helpful hints and advice from the experts, and our first dint in the Patrol to remember the day. The day ended around 2 pm, although Jamie and a few hardy souls went off in search of even more mud.
