This project was proudly funded by the Queensland Government's Gambling
Community Benefit Fund

In June 2006 the club applied for a grant from the Queensland
Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund to purchase items and equipment
for use by the club.
The process involved the completion of an application form
and the compilation of documents such as Certificate of Incorporation,
Club Committee details, Auditors Report, Treasurers Financial
Statements, references and letters of support. In addition an overview
of the club’s
project was to be documented and was to include how the project would benefit
the community and how the grant would be acknowledged.
As a result the Club received the grant in November and the
club has now finished purchasing the required equipment.

I would like to thank those members who assisted in the seeking
of quotes, letters of support, purchasing of the equipment
and the club in general for agreeing to pursue this grant
